Red Bug Slough Preserve
Red Bug Slough Preserve is a 72-acre site located in suburban Sarasota County. Visitors can explore nature trails that wind through oak hammock and pine flatwoods habitats leading to an open, scenic vista of Red Bug Slough. The preserve is open for day use only and also features a playground, interpretive kiosks, picnic facilities and butterfly gardens.
