Disc Dog Tournament and Expo - From 9 a.m. until noon. Pre-registration is encouraged. The event will be free to the public. Food and drink vendors as well as businesses, rescues and representatives from animal shelters will also be present. For registration and vendor information please call 941-681-3742.

Oyster Creek Regional Park

An observation platform and scenic boardwalk across Oyster Creek provides visitors the chance to enjoy the variety of listed wading birds that utilize the mangroves. While a peaceful walk through the old growth pines and scrub habitat in 125 acre San Casa sanctuary, leads to the larger Oyster Creek Regional Park active recreational facilites. The active recreation area of Oyster Creek Regional Park includes amenities such as a swimming pool, cricket/multi-use field, Skate Park, Dog Park, tennis courts, and football fields.
