One of my pet peeves is buying light colored clothes or bags and getting stains on them. I recently bought a nice nude leather bag made by Chloe. I loved the bag. It was made of such a soft leather that I couldn’t help creepily stroking it on the train on my way to work. Naturally, I place my bag on my lap when I’m taking the train or sitting in the car. I also tend to hold my purses on my forearm, which leaves the purse sliding against my legs. After about a week into wearing the purse I noticed these blue stains all over one side of it. Of course I didn’t notice this until I was out to lunch with my Grandma and she pointed it out. Anyway, I found out that the stains were a result of my light colored purse rubbing against my dark jeans! In this case, the leather was so delicate that every single point of contact created a dark stain on my purse. Even though I loved the design of the bag I ended up exchanging it for a black one in the same model. I find it very difficult to buy light colored clothes and shoes because of this experience (and sometimes my own clumsiness). Despite this fear I recently purchased a pair of nude sandals.
The strappy gladiator sandals that weave up your calf are a big trend. I love how Kourtney Kardashian wears these strappy nude sandals here:
I guess these are more of a bright gold color instead of nude. Nevertheless, I want to get a pair ver similar to this only nude. The strings that tie around your calf are already so pronounced that a more subtle color would be better. I still think these sandals are so fun! They add so much spice to Kourtney’s outfit.
I also love the strappy sandal heels. Take a look at this pair of nude sandals I found on Nordstrom.
For one, I love that these heels are made of suede. From my experience, suede is the most comfortable fabric for shoes. It stretches out so much better than leather and never leaves any calluses on your feet. Second, I love the strappy design of these shoes. Before I was all about the solid heels, but I’ve been looking for open strappy heels lately. The nude color is my third favorite aspect of the shoes. Nude goes with everything! And when you have nude shoes it elongates your legs because it blends in with your skin tone. I found the cutest pair of nude sandals and heels on Resultly.
Nude is also a great color because there are so many colors you can choose from. Here is a slightly darker nude sandal:
I actually prefer this pair of heels better than the Steve Madden Pair. This shade of nude is difficult to get dirty, and its made of suede which is a plus for comfort. I prefer this style more than the previous pair because of the platform. A high heeled always needs to be combined with a high platform- this way there isn’t as big of a height discrepancy between your heel and the sole of your foot.
